Takacat New Zealand Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility:
   This giveaway is open to individuals who are legal residents of New Zealand and are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Takacat New Zealand, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers (“Employees”), as well as immediate family members and/or those living in the same household as Employees, are not eligible to participate.

2. Agreement to Rules:
   By entering, the participant (“You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Takacat New Zealand as final and binding in all matters relating to this giveaway.

3. Giveaway Period:
   Entries will be accepted starting from 7 May 2025 and will close at 11:59 PM NZST on 25 May 2025. All entries must be received by this time to be eligible.

4. How to Enter:
   To enter, scan the QR code available at the Takacat stand during the Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show or via approved Takacat promotional materials. The QR code will direct participants to an online entry form. One entry per person is permitted. Incomplete or duplicate entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Takacat New Zealand.

5. Prize:
   One (1) winner will receive a Dometic 42L Chilly Bin, valued at $299 NZD.
   The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item. Takacat reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary. All prize-related expenses, including delivery within New Zealand, are covered by Takacat. Any other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification:
   The winner will be selected via random draw conducted by Takacat New Zealand on 26 May 2025 and will be notified by email within five (5) days. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within ten (10) days, or fails to meet the eligibility criteria, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Use of Prize:
   The prize is intended for personal use only. Takacat New Zealand is not responsible for any misuse, damage, or injury resulting from the use of the prize.

8. Rights to Promotional Content:
   By entering, you agree that Takacat New Zealand may use your name and/or entry for promotional purposes, including social media, email marketing, and the website, without additional compensation or prior notice.

9. Privacy Policy:
   All personal data collected during the giveaway will be used in accordance with Takacat New Zealand’s privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

10. Odds:
    The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

11. Limitation of Liability:
    By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Takacat New Zealand and all associated parties from any liability, injury, loss, or damage that may occur from participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

12. Disputes:
    This giveaway is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled by an appropriate authority in New Zealand. Participation constitutes agreement that any disputes will be resolved individually and not via class action.

13. Sponsor:
    This giveaway is sponsored by Takacat New Zealand.

14. Third-Party Disclaimer:
    This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show, Meta Platforms, or any third-party platform used to promote the giveaway.
