Introducing the Takacat NZ team
Paul and Helen Powney are the distributors of the Takacat Inflatable Catamaran range for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Paul’s career has been involved with the marine industry for well over 25 years starting in the RNZN as a weapons electrical mechanic then working for diesel engine distributor TransDiesel in various sales and management roles including their Marine Market Manager and National Sales Manager before joining The NZ Sailing Trust as their CEO. Helen has grown up on Auckland's North Shore with Grandparents and Parents spending leisure time cruising the Hauraki Gulf.
Helen, Paul and their boys enjoy spending recreational time on the water whether it's fishing, diving, towing the biscuit or exploring the Hauraki Gulf and Bay of Islands in their Takacat.
We are passionate about supporting our customers and excited about building on the success of the Takacat brand.
