Orders (New Zealand)
Prices are quoted in NZ$ and include New Zealand GST and duty unless stated otherwise.
Orders will be processed, and an invoice supplied within 24 to 48hrs. Delivery is generally 10 to 14 days unless made to order and will be confirmed at time of order confirmation.
Warranty Policy (New Zealand)
Congratulations on purchasing your new Takacat Inflatable boat. To ensure fast and easy operation on any future warranty repairs, print and fill out the warranty registration at the bottom of this page. Takacat NZ Ltd, warrants each new Takacat boat to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.
Claims against defects in materials, parts or accessories are justified as follows.
PVC & Hypalon fabrics are warranted for five (5) years against defects and deterioration that affect usability as ageing , cracking or delamination.
Air filling pipe seams are warranted for three (3) years against defects and deterioration that affect usability as ageing, cracking or delamination.
Air deck floors (New 1mm PVC anti-Skid protective layer). Material and seams are warranted for three (3) years against defects and deterioration that affect usability as ageing, cracking or delamination.
Air deck floors (Plane or EVA layer). Material and seams are warranted for two (2) years against defects and deterioration that affect usability as ageing, cracking or delamination.
Parts and equipment including carry handle, D ring, seat, oars, will be free from defects in material and structure for a period of two (3) years from date of purchase.
Under no circumstances will Takacat NZ be responsible for incidental or consequential damages in connection with the use of a Takacat inflatable.
Limited liability claims relating in any way to the sale or use of (Takacat's), parts and or accessories must not in any case exceed the purchase price of the product to such a claim relates.
This warranty is not transferable and a proof of purchase must be supplied at time of claim.
The following are not covered by or may void the warranty.
Use of higher power greater than max Hp at HIN plate.
Misuse, abuse or neglect, such as improper docking, towing, driving, packing, transport or storage.
Rental or commercial usage.
Collision, improper transportation, punctures, tears, abrasions, theft, fire, etc.
Changes and modifications to the original product.
Damage, such as corrosion of metal parts due to lack of maintenance, or premature wear due to improper assembly or disassembly.
Purchase of a demo or used boat.
Commercial or private live-aboard use restricted to 1 year limited liability warranty
Use outside of NZ waters
"Takacat NZ Ltd or its authorized representative will repair, or at its option, replace any of the shortcomings described above under the respective warranty periods. In the event of a claim, you must report the defect in writing or by email to Takacat NZ Ltd, include the model number, hull identification number, vendor name and a receipt with date of purchase, your contact details and information about what the error or defect is. Pictures of the affected area is also needed to assess the course of action. One of our representatives will contact you to make arrangements that cause as little inconvenience to you as possible.

Note: Please complete and return this form to your Takacat representative within 30 days of purchase for your warranty to be effective. Thus permitting the owners / buyers to have read and understood the conditions of limited warranty and you have full warranty.

Stripe credit card payments (surcharge applies)
Please write your name and invoice number at time of transfer so we can track your payment with no issues.
On receiving your order or quote, we will e-mail you a detailed invoice for you to check and confirm the details. If available ex stock full payment will be required prior to dispatch.
If made to order we then require a 50% deposit to start the production of your custom built hand made Takacat. The remaining 50% is payable prior to shipping.
